Geoff’s practice explores his relationship with nature and the landscape through painting. He investigates the interconnected threads between art and the environment, using the visual language of both traditional and modern Western painting. His work incorporates material metaphors—for example, employing slow, pre-industrial craft techniques to produce natural canvases grown from the land. He also uses traditional lime plasters combined with earth and cosmic pigments to create frescos, emphasising the connection between process, material, and place
